Company History

Shriro was founded in 1906 by the grandfather of our present Chairman, Mark Shriro, as a family business in Harbin, Northern China. The first international office was established in 1917 in Yokohama, Japan. From early days our business was mainly commodities and expanded rapidly after 1945 as our product line grew and subsidiaries opened in many South East Asian countries and Canada.

Today, Shriro offices are located in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and is now a truly international marketing and distribution company with over 3,500 employees in sixteen countries around the world. In Australia, Shriro is the proud national distributor for the product ranges of Binatone, Casio, Earhugger, Flow, Gaggia and the proud owner and distributor of the Everdure brand. From our headquarters in Lane Cove, Sydney, Shriro Australia Pty Limited markets and distributes durable goods and business system products nationwide.
